7 PSEB employees reinstated

Patiala, January 15
The Punjab State Electricity Board today reinstated seven employees sacked for misbehaving with a senior engineer.

Many unions had been demanding reinstatement of these employees. This development came with H.S Brar taking over as PSEB chief in place of Y.S Ratra.

Eleven more employees were suspended for allegedly assaulting the senior engineer.

On July 19, 2007, these employees were dismissed for assaulting executive engineer Gurpal Singh in his office here Out of these two had retired and the PSEB will give all benefits to these. The reinstated employees are Vijay Dev, Rameshwar Pasiana, Banarsi Das, Ram Singh,Amar Dev, Tirath Bahadur and Rajinder singh.
