PSPCL Union demands cancellation of suspension of Asstt. Executive Engineer

FEROZEPUR: A meeting of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) was held under the leadership of Er.Sartaj Singh, regional secretary. In this meeting, all the engineers of Ferozepur Circle were present and S.K.Batra, executive engineer specially attended the meeting.

In the meeting, the suspension of Surinder Singh, assistant executive engineer, on September 20, 2012, was condemned in strong words and demanded his immediate reinstatement to meet the ends of justice.

Regional Secretary informed that Surinder Singh is not at fault and he has been suspended hurriedly without enquiring into the detailed facts of the case and there is a great resentment amongst the engineers’ class.

He further demand that in case the suspension of Surinder Singh is not cancelled, then the PSEB Engineers Association will plan to intensify the agitation and the responsibility for any consequences will be that of management of Powercom.
