Dear PSEBEA Members,
Divisive forces after misleading few engineers by openly stating that they would operate within PSEBEA constitution, are now making attempts to form a separate body with self-styled leadership at helm, to weaken our august institution i.e. PSEBEA for reasons well known to the cadre. Earlier they claimed that UFPE OF PSEBEA was constituted as per constitution, but later on dropped PSEBEA from its name and then attempted to convene unconstitutional extra ordinary meeting citing it to be as per provisions of PSEBEA constitution. After getting poor response from the cadre and realising the futility of such exercise, they cancelled the meeting. Now they are attempting to start membership drive for a separate body and may try to misguide you this time too by misquoting the constitution. PSEBEA appeals to its members to once again to reject them and stay united under a democratically elected body of PSEB Engineers’ Association. PSEBEA takes this opportunity to caution that a member of the PSEBEA cannot hold dual membership of any other body of engineering cadre operating in PARALLEL with PSEBEA as it will be against the letter & spirit and ‘aims & objectives’ of the constitution of PSEBEA and in such a situation, legal complications for disposal of claims under PSEB Engineers Welfare fund and Benevolent Fund may also arise. Moreover, it is important to mention here that PSEBEA being signatory of TPA can legitimately raise issues concerning protection of career interests, sector interests and Pay & Perks of engineers as envisaged in the TPA and ensure fulfilment & compliance of provisions & clauses of TPA which is a sacrosanct document and none else, who is not a signatory of TPA, is authorised or can claim to represent engineers.

All members need to be wary of their guile and reject these vested interests in the overall interests of sector and cadre. All members need to come forth to thwart divisive vested interests like they have been doing in the recent past because TOGETHER WE CAN AND TOGETHER WE WILL achieve our goal. For protecting the interests of engineers particularly long time interests like Revision of pay scales, that is going to take place in near future for which we need to stay United and as a final blow, challenge self-centred individuals to call their bluff, so that they may not succeed in their evil designs and deeds.
