Chandigarh: S M Dhiman Member CEA is likely to be the new Chairman of Bhakra Beas Management Board.

According to sources the name of S M Dhiman has been cleared by Power Ministry .He is a power engineer and is working as Member Grid operation and distribution in Central Electricity Authority

MK Gupta Member Irrigation is presently holding the additional charge of Chairman BBMB after the retirement of U C mishra last month.

Dhiman is all set to succeeds U C Mishra as Chairman BBMB . He comes to BBMB with vast experience of hydro projects .He was responsible for formulation of policies for safe, secure and economic operation of regional grids ,integrated operation, control and co-ordination of five regional grids as Member CEA.
