soon be a thing of the past in Punjab. With the Centre flexing financial muscle to insulate PSEB against theft and empowering it with IT to provide better services to consumers, future prospects of the board look bright.

Geographic information system mapping of the distribution and consumer indexing system under the Restructured Accelerated Power Development and Reforms Programme would not only help set up a data centre but also disaster recovery centres in key cities where experts would manage power flow at click of a button.
