Engineer electrocuted

Shimla, February 9
An assistant engineer of the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board (HPSEB), Bali Muhammad, died today after he got electrocuted while trying to restore power supply.

The incident took place in the Brooke Hurst area of the town when Muhammed along with other employees of the HPSEB was trying to restore power supply from an electricity pole.

Following rain and hailstorm that lashed the town intermittently during the past 24 hours, power supply to the entire town remained affected.
