ENGINEERS LOCK HORNS WITH PSEB CHAIRMAN

Engineers of the Guru Hargobind Thermal Plant at Lehra Mohabbat and Guru Gobind Singh Super Thermal Plant in Rupnagar endorsed the decision of the Punjab State Electricity Board Engineers Association's cen- tral executive body of not coop- erating with PSEB Chairman H.S. Brar for "his vindictive and biased attitude".

Nearly 200 engineers from both thermal plants held meet- ings on Tuesday and resolved to implement programmes announced by the central body.
They urged the central body to take up issues affecting serv- ice conditions of engineers with the board management. They want a higher start in the pay scale of assistant engineer and increments as per revised scales.
