Update yourself : NTPC plans to become a 75000 MW company by 2017.

National Thermal Power Limited, NTPC, Limited, India’s largest power company with an installed capacity of 31,134 MW is presently operating 15 coal based, 7 gas based power stations and 4 joint ventures.
