AIPEF demand vacation of vitimisation of Haryana power utility engineers

CHANDIGARH: All India Power Engineers Federation (AIPEF) has demanded the vacation of victimization of office bearers of Haryana Power Engineers Association through bipartite talks.

Shaliender Dubey Secretary General AIPEF in a letter to Managing Director Dakshin Haryana Bidhyut Vitran Nigam has alleged that two office bearers of Association are being victimized on flimsy ground as they were raising were highlighting irregularities being done in the Nigam and raising their voice for rendering better service to consumers.

Sumer Singh Yadav, General Secretary of Association as not been promoted as Chief Engineer in spite of the fact the name of the officer has already been approved by the board of directors of power utility. It may be mentioned that two post of Chief Engineers are lying vacant .Power utility has added recently fuel to fire by serving a notice to Sumer Singh Yadav on account of death of one Peacock in Mohindergarh.

Daljit Singh Vice President of Association has also been transferred from Gurgaon to Hissar on account of segregation of rural feeders whereas the work of segregation of rural feeders was given to another officer.

It may be mentioned added that segregation of rural feeders has already been declared complete by the power utility in its meeting with Chief Minister on June 30.2009
