PSEB STAFF STRIKE WORK ACROSS STATE

: Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB) employees, including engi- neers, observed a one-day strike across the state on Tuesday. Those posted at power plants also joined the strike to protest against the Punjab government's propos- al to unbundle the board “without taking the staff into confidence“. On its part, the management claimed opera- tions continued uninterrupt- ed, as alternative arrange- ments had been made at cru- cial installations. PSEB Chairman H.S. Brar lauded the services of all those employees who attended office, claiming only a section of the staff was on strike. All power generation units also worked uninterrupted.
