Incentive for HPGCL staff

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited (HPGCL) has decided to boost the morale of its employees by paying enhanced generation linked incentive, MD Sanjeev Kaushal said here on Wednesday.

He further said the Board of Directors had approved the payment of generation incentive to the employees of various generating stations.

He added that the generation incentive would be given for achieving target performance during a month and also during a particular day. Incentive would also be given for reducing oil consumption, auxiliary consumption and for minimizing the forced outages of the generating Units.

A unique feature of the new generation incentive scheme was that the the incentive had been linked with the grade pay as compared to percentage of average basis pay in the previous incentive schemes and the rates of incentive payable had been almost doubled, he added.
