KD Chudhary appointed CMD of Punjab Powercom, Anurag Aggarwal to head Transco

CHANDIGARH: Punjab Government issued notification for appointments of CMDs and Directors of newly formed Punjab Powercom and Punjab Transco.

KD Chudhary and Anurag Aggarwal have joined as CMDs of Punjab Powercom and Punjab Transco respectively. KD Chudhary was Member Distribution and Anurag Aggarwal was Member Finance in erstwhile PSEB.

GS Chhabra has joined as Director Generation, Arun Verma as Director Distribution and Subhash Arora as Director Finance in the Punjab Powercom. H C Seth an eminent HRD expert from NTPC has been made Director HRD.

Ravinder Singh joined as Director Technical in Transco. The post of Director Commercial has been kept vacant .Uma Kant Pandya from Orissa has been made Director Finance in Transco.

According to sources the decision on appointment Director Commercial was held up as the Government could not decide between two main contenders KK Singla and Surinder Pal Singh. One contender is staking his claim on merits while other has strong recommendation from higher judiciary.
