T.A. Regulation 37(ii) provides for extension in the L.T.C. block by one year (first year of next L.T.C. Block) with the permission of the H.O.D. Now in few offices, clerical 'EXPERTS' are dictating that as the block 2006-2009 has already been extended by 6 months vide erstwhile PSEB Financial Circular No. 29/2009, extension to the first year of next L.T.C. Block, as provided in Regulation 37(ii) can not be given. There has been no ammendment in the regulation 37(ii) till date. The officers are being affected, as due to Paddy Season, L.T.C. is being disallowed.The issue needs to be taken up at association level.
