HS Brar appointed PSEB chairman

CHANDIGARH: HS Brar member distribution PSEB has been appointed new PSEB Chairman in place of YS Ratra.

HS Brar who was last April appointed member of Punjab State Electricity Board was made Chairman of the board for a period of one year. The term of present chairman YS Ratra was expiring on Tuesday. Earlier Punjab Government had announced that YS Ratra would continue as chairman till further order but there has been a rethinking on the part of government.

YS Ratra was appointed Chairman of board by congress government after his retirement as Chief Secretary and was given extension by present akali government HS Brar retired as Chief Engineer from PSEB last January and was appointed advisor after his retirement.He is a mechanical engineer.
