As you all will also be delighted to note the adoption of the LTC entitlement as per Pb. Govt. by PSPCL vide its circular number 43/2010. On the one hand it is a welcome initiative, though a very delayed, but on the other hand it is dissappointing too. The disappointment comes due to the juncture on which it has been introduced- the fag end of the LTC block 2006-09 (extended upto 31.12.2010). This all also smells rot, as introducing this LTC circular would mean less 'burden' on PSPCL, as most of the officer did not avail this block due to non entitlement and the block would end on 31.1.2.2010. Moreover, the first year of the next block (2010-13) has also gone. I hope, my colleagues and friends would also agree with the view point that the previous block needs another extension for giving benefit of this entitlement.
