LUCKNOW: Employees associations from various public sector undertakings have called a meeting of their members in Delhi on July 19 to decide upon their future course of action in protest against privatisation of PSUs.

Secretary general of All India Power Engineers Federation, Shailendra Dubey said that it was because of the said privatisation that there is corruption. A nation wide campaign would be organised to apprise and awake the employees about what the association call a menace that is eating into state coffers and leading to corruption.

Employees from various sectors, be it power, telecom, bank or insurance, are expected to attend the meeting. The AIPEF said that UP is fast emerging as a classic example, where crucial sectors like power are thrown to the private concerns.
