RS. 3700 crores investment on strengthening power infrastructure showing its results-Sukhbir

MOGA: Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal Thursday said that massive investment of Rs. 3700 crores in strengthening Power infrastructure was showing its positive results as all urban and rural areas were getting 24 hours uninterrupted power supply.

Talking to Media persons at the helipad before Sangat Darshan here Thursday, Badal said that SAD-BJP government from day one focused on power generation sectors besides strengthening power distribution network. He said that besides the attracting investment of Rs. 90,000 crores in power generation sector, the government spent Rs. 3700 crores on power distribution network. He said that as a part of massive programme over 107 66 KV sub station and 43 132 KV sub station were constructed through out the state to ensure that all citizens get 24 hours power supply without any load shedding.
