EX-SERVICES LEAGUE TO DO POWER JOB

The Uttar Haryana Nigam (UHBVN) Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) has decided to assign the responsibility of effecting temporary and permanent disconnection orders to the Haryana Ex-Services League (HESL).
UHBVN managing director Arun Kumar said here on Saturday that the decision had been taken in view of the shortage of staff in the field offices and to ensure that the disconnections of the non-payers were being made regularly.

The Nigam would pay Rs 50 for each case for effecting temporary disconnection and Rs 100 for each case for effecting permanent disconnection of the defaulters.

The HESL would also arrange video graphing, if required. The UHBVN has already outsourced some other works including bill reading and distribution to HESL in the past.
