Haryana Power Minister invites Power Engineers for talks

Haryana Power Minister Captain Ajay Yadav has invited power engineers to sort out their problems with respect to pay and other pending issues.

HARYANA’s POWER Minister, Captain Ajay Yadav has invited the engineers of power utilities for talks on August 5 to discuss various issues raised by them.
R S Yahiya President of HSEB Power Engineers Association said they are hopeful that the Captain Yadav will solve their long pending grievances.

He said that a joint representative group of all the engineers of four power utilities will be meeting Captain Yadav to press for early acceptance of long pending demands.

It may be mentioned that Haryana’s Power Minister Captain Ajay Yadav has called the representatives of workers union and engineers associations for discussion on August 5. He will also be holding the meeting of management of utilities after listening to the grievances of employees.

The main demands of engineers are removal of pay anomalies in pay scales of assistant engineers, restructuring of the Discoms, retirement of directors who attain the age of superannuation and filling of vacant posts will be discussed at the meeting.

Hardeep Sangwan General Secretary of HPGCL thermal engineers Association said that the demand of thermal engineers pertain to revision of shift duty allowance, generation incentive, rotation policy in shifts and filling of vacant posts.
