Lehra Mohabbat ran full capacity

During the month of October, when many of the thermal plants in India under performed due to shortage of coal, thermal plants of Punjab came to the rescue of the state in a big way by running to their full capacity thus generating maximum power during the month.
GHTP Lehra Mohabbat unit 1, 3 and 4 generated 1625, 1949 and 1937 lakh units in October at a plant load factor of 103.99
per cent, 104.76 per cent and 104.15 per cent, respectively, which is a record
so far in the history of thermal plants of Punjab.
Total generation during the month at Lehra Mohabbat thermal plant was 7059 lakh units at a plant load factor of 103.14 per cent. Lehra plant has also generated 233.03 lakh units at a plant load factor of 105.54 per cent on October 27 which is also a record generation in a single day so far.
The 210 MW Unit-1 of Lehra Mohabbat thermal plant is running continuously without any tripping since 20th July and completed 100 days of continuous run on October 28. This unit is running till date without tripping. It is for the sixth time that this unit has run for more than 100 days continuously.
Unit No. 4 of Ropar thermal plant has also generated 1605 lakh units
at a plant load factor of 102.7 per cent which is also a record generation during a single month at the plant.
