PSEB constitutes wages formulation committee

PATIALA: Punjab State Electricity Board has constituted a wages formulation committee for revision of pay scales of its employees.

K D Chudhary Member distribution PSEB will be heading the 5 member committee. The other members of the committee are Secretary of board, Chief Engineer IR & W, Chief Account’s officer and Deputy Secretary Finance.

All the associations of the board have also been made members of the committee. They will be nominating their representatives in due course of time. CL Garg has been appointed an expert member of the committee.

5th Pay commission has already submitted its report on the wages and allowances revision to the Punjab government and the report has been accepted by government in principal.

The recommendation of 5th. pay commission cannot be directly implemented as the pay scale in number of categaries are on higher side as compared to similar categories in the state government.
