Dubey to be power panel chairperson

Chandigarh, January 7
The Punjab Government today gave its nod to the appointment of Financial Commissioner (Revenue) Romila Dubey as chairperson of the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission (PSERC).

Confirming this, state Chief Secretary SC Agrawal said a notification in this regard would be issued soon.

Dubey, who is the seniormost IAS officer in the state currently, will be the first woman PSERC chairperson. She will replace former Chief Secretary Jai Singh Gill, who will retire from the post on January 20.
